There are plenty of hairstyles included in the game, but I feel like kids tend to be a little left behind – especially if you’re a base game player.
These hairstyles are PERFECT if you want to add a little bit to your game without wanting to pay extra.
I’ve tested the CC styles in this list, and here are my favorite picks:

1. Editor’s Pick: Emma by Sulttry
I’m a BIG fan of wavy and curly hair, so it’s no surprise that Emma is my favorite child cc hair style.
It looks like the wavy style we got with the Cats and Dogs EP that I use ALL the time, and it’s great that I have a cute one to match it.
I’ll admit that while I LOVE cc, I don’t keep a lot of it in my game, but this is one that I do.
This hair is hat compatible, has all the EA swatches, and comes from this mesh by AHaris00Britney.
2. Alice by MoonMoonSim
The child Alice hair is a conversion from Ms-Marysims.
It features 20 EA colors along with 5 custom pastels, works with hats and is perfect for those of us that only access the base game.
I think what I like best is that it has both high quality and regular options, so you can pick the one that fits your device the best.
3. Makoto by MiikoCC
I LOVE Miiko’s custom hair (I have THIS one featured in the female hair post too), and this Makoto one is the perfect pick.
It’s base game compatible, and fully fits in with EA hair, but the creator has added 21 custom swatches as well.
The hair accessory can be found with hats, but it is also hat compatible (you just won’t get the accessory with it).
4. Victorian Gent by shaoxingjiusims4
I love the Maxis Match Victorian Gent hair.
You do need the Get Famous EP for it to work as it’s an adult conversion, but it’s a great pick.
It has all 24 swatches and works with hats too!
