I find that the Sims 4 has so-so selection of bedroom furniture (even in expansion packs and sets), so custom content is a welcome addition to any game.

I particularly like the Luna Bedroom set because it has a modern feel without looking to over-the-top.

It features separate bed frame and mattress items that you combine, with 33 different mattress colors.

It has a nice selection of colors that can blend into any room, and it’s an overall pleasure to work with.

In particular, I love the round corners featured in this set. It ‘s really modern and stylish bed set, while still being comfortable.

2. Milana Bedroom Furniture by Severinka

The Milana Bedroom is perfect if you’re looking for the Hamptons cottage vibe.

I particularly love the ceiling lamp (which you can’t see in the screenshot), it also has a very New England cottage feel to it.

If you’re trying to create a classic bedroom in the game, this is the pick for you. It features everything that you need to make something that feels very cozy.

Pair the furniture with a fresh coat of paint in a warm shade of blue, and pair it with the window curtains included in the pack.

The only thing that would make this room more perfect is if you have the Nifty Knitting pack, add a cozy rocking chair to the corner!

I think my favorite piece of this whole room is the floor cushion, it matches the style I would use in my own house décor.

The real bummer is the ladder set doesn’t work – you can’t actually have a bed or anything stored on top of the bed. However, I believe you can use the ladder piece as a place to hold smaller decorative items.

I’m not a big fan of the wall décor that comes in this mini bedroom set, but everything in it is perfect for the right home. If you’re looking to dress up your home in a very bohemian feel, this is the set for you.

4. Jules Bedroom by Syboulette

The Jules Bedroom is another simple room that features 15 different items that you can use, even if you only have the base game!

Honestly, I feel like the lamp doesn’t quite fit with everything else in the set. However, overall it’s pretty cute if you want something basic and unassuming.

It’s worth noting that IF you want the rocking chair to work, you’ll need Nifty Knitting — but there is a base game (non rocking) version included.

5. Riikka Bedroom by Myshunosun

The Riikka Bedroom is cute and ridged. If you love the modern square look, this is going to be the bedroom cc set for you.

This set has a bit of an Ikea feel to me, probably because of the shelving unit and the platform bedframe. It’s a small set with a few select items that you can mix and match with other peices.

There isn’t a lot of smaller décor pieces added into this game, but there is plenty of clutter (cc and not) that you can add to your game to make up for it.

Overall, I find these pieces to be nicely made, easy to decorate and perfect for blending into any game. I particularly like the Ikea-like shelf, and it has a ton of décor slots you can fill up as you please.

6. Sandrine Bedroom Set by Syboulette

If you want a basic set, the Sandrine Bedroom is for you.

It’s a full set that comes with a bed, dresser, side table, and some cute lamps.

Overall, this is a pretty basic set, but it does come with a few decorative items that you can use to really spice up the room.

It’s worth pointing out that this isn’t the ideal set for someone with more colorful vibes. It has a very simple color palette.

Sixam makes some great custom content, and the Stylish Wood Cozy Guestroom is no exception.

Ultimately, I really LOVE the beds, but I hate the bedding swatches.

It really matches the desk and the dresser really well, and brings a cottage vibe to the whole room. And yes, the bed does come in both double and single options.

This is great for a certain aesthetic.

8. Agnes Bedroom Set by Syboulette

I really like the Agnes Bedroom, but the bed can be a bit hard to place (even though it’s hella cool). It’s worth noting that there is a no strings version, but who doesn’t want a hanging bed?

I really like the make-your-own closet that comes with this set, however I’ll be the first to admit that I really don’t know how to use the wall light that comes with it. That said, you can make a pretty sweet closet without the wall light component!

This set also comes with a number of clothing and other decorative items that ranges from around §49 to §59. It’s not included in my list, but you can totally use it to make a super cute closet. This is probably one of my favorite sets simply because I love to customize a closet.

9. Go Trendy Bedroom by SIMcredible!

The Go Trendy Bedroom is a chic choice for Sims 4 bedroom cc.

I’ll admit that this is more of an alpha set than I normally download, but it is a cute option. If you’re headed for a more minimalistic vibe, this is what you want.

It’s not the largest set on our list, but here’s what you get:

It’s worth noting that if you want the wrinkled blanket on top of the bed, you need to add it. It’s a two-piece set and you need both.

I think my favorite piece is actually the wall décor set.

If you want a little retro in your bedroom, the Groovy Baby Set is for you. It’s a hella fun set that features an actual round bed (if that’s your thing).

I’m all about the bright room colors, and the Bonbon Bedroom delivers on that.

This set is perfect for a cute teenage or young adult room. I kind of love it for in an apartment.

Something worth noting, for the “hello” sign to show up you need a very contrasting color otherwise it kind of fades into the background.

I also don’t love the see-through features of the side tables, and having it on both the tables and vases is a little much for me. I do really love this set, but it needs more pieces to make a full set.

12. Romina by Soloria

Another alpha option that I’ve added to my list includes the Romina set by Soloria.

This set has a very classic look and feel to it, especially if you’re playing a craftier storyline.

I have to admit that my favorite piece in this set is the fairy lights. It’s a small collection of strings, but you really can make something beautiful with it.

The rug and wall hanging are also quite cute, however I don’t love that the bedding falls all over the place. It’s not quite as tidy as I tend to like my rooms.

The Alfzema set by SIMcredible is a bit more Maxis Match if that’s your thing (guilty!).

I like that this bedroom set has a classic look and feel to it, but is still considered to be modern.

The ottoman is a classic addition to any bedroom, and the mirror and desk accents are really fun without overwhelming the room.

14. Adrienne Bedroom by Syboulette

The Adrienne Bedroom is perfectly fit for a teen girl or young adult.

I have to admit that it’s a tad bit more alpha than Syboulette usually makes, but I think that’s because of the metal accents.

The Ekza Bedroom has a very rustic look and feel to it. It’s not as Maxis Match as I usually go with. But if you’re looking for a western vibe, this is it.

The wood has a bit of an alpha look and feel to it, but I LOVE some of the swatches that are included (like the green and white combination I have pictured).

I probably wouldn’t use the dresser in any of my builds, but I do like the comfy chair included, along with the cute lamps.

It sounds a bit odd, but I think my favorite piece is actually the hanging lightbulb that comes with a plugin attached to it (how cute!).

The lamp and the bed are my favorite pieces, but there are a few other things that you can use throughout your house.

I have to admit that I’m including the Kamila Mid-Century Modern Bedroom because of the gold room divider – it’s really cute.

I also happen to LOVE the color schemes that are included with this set, but the pricing IS a tad bit higher than some of the other sets. Here’s what you get:

The bed in this set is my least favorite piece, but I do love the dressers and tables.

Ultimately, it’s a cute design that you can use in a bunch of different designs, but you’ll need to make sure that your sim can actually afford it.

The La Femme Bedroom set is smaller but features a few cute items that you can use to spice up your décor.

I particularly enjoy the bed blanket that hangs over the site. It’s super cute and fun – but I might match it with some EA pieces.

I’ll admit that this probably isn’t a set that I’m regularly using, but it is perfect for the right kind of home.

This is a fairly pricey set, but I have to say it matches the rest of the pieces very well.

I like the rug, it’s perfectly fit for the furniture, but the mirror seems to stand out awkwardly – which isn’t my favorite.

20. Eliza Set by Ylka

If you want a simple bedroom that looks like it’s owned by a young, apartment-dwelling adult, the Eliza Set is for you.

This set isn’t big but it’s cute with bedding that falls over a very simple wood-style frame. Besides the bed, this set also includes:

I appreciate that this is a more affordable bed choice, with a blanket and frame bed set that costs less than $700.

This cute set combines a bunch of sharp, linear pieces that I really like together.

I fully admit that I really like the headboard, bed and end tables together. However, you do need to alt-place the items to make them fit perfectly together.

Everything in this set really does all match and combine together. It’s a really cute set for a studio apartment.

I kind of love the colors you get in the Hinterlands Bedroom set (you get them in the dining set too!). This is a comprehensive set that comes with variations of everything from bedframes to side tables.

It’s a chick set that’s somewhere between modern and classic, and I kind of love the cottage vibe it has. Here’s what else you get when you download it:

I’ll admit that not as much clutter comes with this set as I’d like. You’ll need either something pieces from your game or even to download some clutter sets to make it feel real.

23. Bertilo Bedroom Set by Madlen

The Bertilo Bedroom set is a small but mighty little cc bedroom set for Sims 4.

In this particular set I happen to like the mini dresser that is built to be a end-of-the-bed bench. The cute green color doesn’t hurt.

It’s worth noting that because this set is so small, you might not find you have all the pieces you need to put together a really nice set.

Another tiny pack, the Insomnia Mini Stuff Pack by Charly Pancakes.

I don’t love that there isn’t a side table or ottoman bench to go along with it. But I do like that it comes with a rug, though it’s not my favorite pick.

Weirdly enough, I like that it specifies that the bedding is organic – though I’m not sure how much of a difference it actually makes.

There are two clutter pieces that come with it, however I like the small plant and not so much the birdskull candle.

For those that love a contemporary-looking room, the Urban Bedroom Kit is for you.

This has a very Ikea feel to me, likely stemming from the dark metal frames on all the pieces. I like this set for a teenager, though I’m not a big fan of a rug.

It’s truly a very basic Maxis match bedroom set that works for almost all sims out there. I think it’s a great apartment set, honestly I’d probably put it in my own apartment.

The Octave Collection is another great set if you’re trying to build a hotel. I like the folding bench and chair because they look similar to luggage racks but are usable in The Sims.

I will point out that this set does have a higher price range, so it’s not for the sim that’s just starting out.

I like the modular bookshelves, especially because of the ladder contraption. It has a real Beauty & The Beast feel to me. Who doesn’t want to build a library?

The Daria Bedroom is another great Maxis match set. Again, I like the ottoman bench at the end of the bed, and the bookshelf looks like something that my mom had in our house growing up.

This is another set that’s probably great for adding some clutter to it and fully decorating the room.

The one thing I don’t love is the two candles that come with this set. They don’t seem to fit the rest of the set – they’re a little too historical for me.

The Tranquil Bedroom is a small set but it’s cute for a teenage girl or a young adult.

I happen to love the 4-post bed with the draped fabric. It adds a tad bit of elegance to the room.

The Master Bedroom is a free custom content set that’s impressively built.

CC creators really do bring the game alive, but this might be one of my favorite sets on the list. I love the clean lines and pristine look and feel.

Besides the larger, functional furniture, there are a number of smaller décor items.

This is a very classic furniture set for a modern room that has a classic throw back. Between the fireplace and the ottoman, you can make a stylish room.

The Calderone Bedroom is a mashup of different styles.

The bed feels very modern to me, the footstool looks like it would have been at my great grandmother’s house, and the vase and pedestal give the impression they’re from ancient times.

I’ll be honest, I’m not confident I’d use this set all together.

If you like to build closets, then the Nothing to Wear Closet set is for you.

It features 14 different closet pieces that are open or closed, then you can fit any of the decor pieces right into it.

There are pieces with mirrors, without mirrors, and there are 3 different shelving racks.

I have to say one of my favorite pieces is that there are an array of colors that you can pick from.

36. Vanity Nook by Myshunosun

The Vanity Nook set by Myshunosun looks a lot like a full-on EA kit to me, only it doesn’t cost you $5 to get (seriously, it’s free).

It’s a well-made mini kit that fits the following items:

This little lattice dresser by Nordica Sims is a cute piece for a snowier build. It’s not a massive set like some of the others, but it could add a little life into your bedroom or entry way.

The Fabulous Set was designed by Syboulette for pride and I LOVE it.

It’s a mini vanity set that features a few smaller (mostly décor) items. It’s made with bright colors that I just absolutely love.

This set was designed to celebrate pride, but it’s a great, fun mini pack to any kids or young adults room. You can even make a big walk-in closet to display it.

39. Lavish Stuff Pack by Carly Pancakes

I LOVE a good walk-in, and the Lavish Stuff Pack can help you build just that.

This set features a variety of closet pieces that you can use to organize your sim’s clothing. It also comes with décor items like hanging dresses and pairs of shoes.

My biggest complaint is that there aren’t really enough décor items. If you want to go all-out with the closets, I highly recommend downloading some clutter.

Sims 4 Bedroom CC FAQs

Why do my CC beds keep disappearing?

The High School Expansion Pack added new bed animations which broke most CC beds. Even if you don’t have the EP, updates and patches still carry the issues with them. The only CC beds that work are the ones that have been updated.

Can kids sleep in single bed Sims 4?

Yes, kids in the Sims 4 can sleep in the single beds. Any sim that is NOT a toddler or infant can sleep in a single bed, but only one can fit.

There is plenty of really great Sims 4 bedroom cc out there that you can download. Whether you’re looking for something sleek, chic and modern, or more of a historical edge, there is a pack or piece that you can download to your game.

While you probably want to make sure that you don’t load up your computer too much with custom content, there’s plenty you’ll want to add.

I have a few favorites, but I love the Luna, Hinterlands and Mid-Century Abode sets. However, adding ANY of these sets will help you to decorate the best bedroom of your sim’s life.
