Growing Together added A LOT to gameplay for small people, but the build and buy items were kind of lacking. Lucky for us, creators have stepped up and created some serious eye-catching functional items that are perfect for your sims house.

Whether you’re looking for funky pastels and shapes or classic wood styles, there’s something on this list for everyone.

1. Editor’s Pick: Diaper Days by Charley Pancakes

I love the Diaper Days nursery set by Charly Pancakes.

It’s important to note that this set ONLY works for infants NOT toddlers, but it’s still super cute. You get 5 items with this set, including:

• Crib (there are 2 variants)
• Change table
• Duck plush
• Decorative doll stroller
• Bookshelf

There are two different files you can download – one that requires Growing Together and one that’s fine for just the base game.

While using the changing table is something that comes with Growing Together, the creator has managed to provide a “cleaning” interaction that has to do with the table for base game players.

2. Contemporary Knit Nursery by Kaiso

The Contemporary Knit Nursery is adorable and exactly what you need in an updated family house.

This small nursery set features 8 cute new items, each with 6 swatches. I particularly like the round bookshelf that reminds me of a cozy library, but the changing table with the side shelf is VERY cute.

We also NEVER seem to have enough cute rugs in the game, and the striped one included in this pack is a real win.

3. Lullaby Nursery by Myshunosun

The Lullaby Nursery by Myshunosun is adorable – I particularly like the color swatches you get with this download. 

There are 2 versions of this set – one that works with the base game only and one for Growing Together – which means this is a set that’s accessible to all PC sims players (#thankyou!).

There are 7 items in this set, and include EVERYTHING you need to set up the perfect nursery in your house. Each item has between 12 and 17 swatches that you’ll love decorating with. 

I think my favorite part of this set is the rainbow-esque wall decal.

4. Sweet Kids Room by RusticSims

RusticSims is by-far one of my favorite CC creators because of their Mexican-inspired items. This Sweet Kids Room isn’t necessarily inspired by Mexico but it’s truly a cute set that’s perfect for your little sims’ rooms.

This set features a whopping 24 items (one of the largest sets on our list), and each piece comes in some unique swatches. All of the items function, but this set does need the Growing Together EP to work.

5. Magical Bedroom by Pink Baddie

The Magical Bedroom is super cute if you want a small set that has a feminine touch to it. It’s more alpha than Maxis match, but it’s still adorable. 

I particularly like the wardrobe and the IKEA-like shelf. Though, it’s important to note for the crib to work with the infant update, you’ll need to download the updated version.

6. Candy Nursery by Syboulette

For a bright-and-fun nursery that’s base game compatible (except the playmat and rocking chair, which need Growing Together) and lowpoly, the Candy Nursery is for you.

This set comes with a whopping 31 functional items, made with both toddlers and infants in mind. From a cute crib to a fun little playpen, there’s plenty of items that are GREAT to add to your game. 

This furniture cc pack features pastel colors that are perfect for any child’s room. If you want to build a sweet suite, this is the set you need!

7. Stylish Wood Dreamy Nursery by Sixam CC

If you want a full pack of items for the perfect nursery, the Stylish Wood Dreamy Nursery is for you.

You get 25 expertly crafted items with this set. I particularly like the new play pad with a cute wood tower, but both the toddler bed and crib are also VERY cute. The overall wood appearance gives it a cute-yet-rustic look that’s great for your cozy cabin in the woods.

You can really have fun decorating your kids’ space with this totally FREE download by an amazing creator.

8. Stephanie Nursery by Severinka

If you want something a little more delicate that has an alpha look to it, the Stephanie Nursery is for you.

This is an 8-object set that features everything you need to make a cute space for your kiddos from a toddler bed and a toy cabinet to a bench. The crib in this set is technically decor-only – if you want it to function you’ll need the Invisible Crib Mod.

9. Freja Nursery by Myshunosun

The Freja Nursery has a bit of nordic inspiration built right in, and it’s incredibly cute. This cc set has a very cottagecore feel to me, and I absolutely love it. Everything from the hanging chair to the suitcase side table add a real calming charm to the room. 

Items in this set are base game compatible, but the crib is decor – I don’t believe that it’s been updated to work with the infant update. I really like the toddler bed that comes with this game, along with the decorative hanging herbs and flowers. 

10. Tiny Dreamers by My Cup of CC

The Tiny Dreamers set features 8 different cribs and 3 decorative changing tables to your game to really improve your nursery space. The cribs can technically function if you have the Invisible Crib Mod installed. 

This isn’t technically a full nursery set, just a few cute items to really personalize your space. I particularly like the wicker-style bassinet that I feel has a very cute, rustic look and feel.

11. Nora Nursery by Nordica-Sims

The Nora Nursery comes with 70 new meshes, which include your basics – a toddler bed, bunk bed, crib, changing table – along with some really cute decor items. I particularly like the growth chart, but the elephant stuffy with the big ears is super cute too.

Much of the stuff in this pack are base game compatible, however there are a few that you need packs for:

The design and colors you get with this set have a very minimalistic feel to them, with clean, cute pastel colors.

Taurus Designs makes some gorgeous cc sets, and the Johanna Nursery is no exception.

This cc set features 30 new items that you can add to spice up your nursery space. From 2 styles of cribs to mattresses with 20 swatches each, there’s plenty of ways to personalize your kids’ bedroom with this free download. 

Most of the times are base game compatible, however the diaper change table does require Growing Together to work. You get furniture, decor and toys with this great child-focused download. 

13. Kennedy Nursery (Simxties) by sim_man123

If you’re looking for a cute 60s inspired nursery set, the Kennedy set is for you.

This set has a standard wood look to it that does away with more contemporary plastic-focused design, and it’s complemented by the standout ‘60s inspired colors (LOVE the lime green).The set comes with 7 pieces, and it’s perfect if you’re doing some historical game play.

14. Happy Tides Nursery by SIMcredible!

If you want a beach-focused nursery set, then the Happy Tides Nursery is for you.

This set features the cutest little pieces that have a strong beach house vibe to them. With anchor decor, lighthouse pieces and even a cute octopus plus, there’s plenty for you to work with.

You get 10 items with this mini pack, all of which are GREAT for decorating your next nursery. I particularly like the clutter in this set which can be used in almost any non-bedroom space too!

For those that want a classic style set, Grandma’s Nursery is for you.

This is a small object set that features a:

Most of the items are base game compatible, except the rocking chair that requires Nifty Knitting to work. I really like the dark swatches that come with this set, it really does have the look of something a bit more formal and indicative of a grandmother.

16. Bella Babies Bedroom by Kardofe

The Bella Babies bedroom has a very throwback style nursery vibe to me. 

It has a very crisp, clean look with some cute swatches that air on the side of pastels. This is a set that I feel like could fit well into a royal-style build, though you might want to pick a more traditional color from the swatches. 

With this you get a new potty, high chair, garbage bin, along with some really cute decorations. It’s simple, cute, and I love the cloud shelves. 

17. Nature Kids Nursery by SIMcredible!

If you want a more unique nursery set, the Nature Kids Nursery is for you.

I love the vibrant yellow swatch you can get with this nursery, but there are some other cute colors if it’s too sunny for you. The crib functions as a “cover” for the base game crib – meaning it’s not technically a functional object, you just place it on top of the crib your baby comes with.

There are plenty of cute items that come with this set, including a fun neighborhood-looking dollhouse and some adorable owl decor. 

18. Boho Nursery by Nordica Sims

For a small, simple set there’s the Boho Nursery.

This set has been updated to be functional with infants. You get a (functional!) hanging crib, changing table and a decorative shelf.

I love the minimalist style of these items, and the hanging crib is a fun addition.

This infant focused set has 12 new items and, per usual, the crib is decor – however you can use the invisible crib mod to make it work. Besides the crib, this set also has a bookcase, dresser, shelves and a decor changing table.

It’s a cute and simple set that features very neutral coloring. 

21. The Seaside Nursery by Dollish

If you want a more modern nursery inspired by the ocean, the Seaside Nursery is for you.

This cute set features a functional infant crib AND a functional diaper changing station, which is a step up from some of the sets on this list. You also get a bookshelf and some cute toys and clutter items to decorate with. It’s important to note that some of the clutter items are from Dollish’s Wild About You set too.

This set has plenty of swatch options, plus a ton of things you can decorate with – like wall art that has 40 swatches.

I find there’s a real lack of kid-focused lamps in the Sims 4, and the Baby Room Lamp Set helps solve that problem.

With this little lighting set, you get 9 different contemporary lamp options, each of which comes in 5 colors. I particularly like the crayon lamp, which I think are the perfect fit for a playroom.

24. Nursery Boho Crib by Pink Baddie

The Nursery Boho Crib is super cute in all its minimalistic design.

This crib is intended for use by newborns, so you’ll need the “newborn without a crib” to make it functional.

The creator, Pink Baddie, removed the footprint for this item so it can go right against anything you need.

25. Old Age Nursery Infant Crib by Severinka

The Old Age Nursery Infant Crib is a great solution if you’re looking for something that has a more vintage look and feel.

This is a wood-carved crib for infants from the creator’s Old Age Nursery set.

There are only 2 swathes available for this item, and they’re both classy, neutral wood tones.

26. Infant Conversions by Awingledllama

The Infant Conversions pack is perfect if you love (and miss) the furniture in The Sims 2 and 3.
