It’s not a surprise that when it comes to male body presets in the Sims 4, the game’s a bit lacking.
This should surprise no one because our dudes often get forgotten when it comes to new materials. Luckily, cc creators have our backs and there are some STELLAR options out there.
Of course, you can totally create your own body frames–but these can make life so much easier. If you want to change how your Sim looks and make them more unique, you can try these body presets.

For those wanting a little more of a classic active male frame, Body No6 is for you.
It’s a simple frame that features an anatomical style, and it’s great if you want that classic athletic look and feel.
This masculine frame is also built for teens to elders.
3. Soft Boi and Dense Boi Presets by narci-cism
Not everyone’s looking for the PERFECT body for their masculine sims, and that’s where the Soft Boi and Dense Boi presets come in.
If you’re looking to add some body diversity to your gameplay, these bad boys are MUST HAVE. You get two presets with this download, which gives you a great place to start when it comes to building your sims.
These two options give you an opportunity for a chubbier, thicker vibe in your gameplay. As the creator of this bad boy says, “finally, male sims that aren’t shaped like surfboards.”

Another fit male body preset can be found with this No 9 download.
It’s built for masculine-framed sims that are young adults or older. There’s only one style included with this–but there’s plenty to work with!
It’ll look stellar under some custom clothes as well.

This little pack comes with a skin, sim and body preset, making it the ideal addition to your mods folder.
It’s a HQ compatible pack that features two versions (with and without eyebrows), 30 swatches, 4 overlay versions, and it works for teens and older.

For those that are tired of body shrinking in their gameplay, the Classic Physique body preset is for you.
This is PERFECT for anyone that’s interested in having a more classically athletic body preset in their game. You can go large if you want, or keep it simple.

This David Male Body Preset features four different version so you can add a little variation to your gameplay.
With it you get two presets that are on the slim side, and two that are designed to be more fit.
Overall, they sit on the more classically fit and athletic body frame. Perfect for swimsuit weather!
9. Plus Size Male Body Preset by PlayersWonderland
I’m a BIG fan of seeing more body diversity in my gameplay and this Plus Size Male Body Preset can help with that.
It adds a wider hip, a new sculpted neck, much wider arms and legs. There is only one style included in this–but realistically, that’s all you need to spice up your game.
10. Male Body Preset and Eyes by SimmerAddiction83
This male body preset and eyes pack is a great way to add a little customization to your sim world.
You can use this preset for teen sims and older. It gives you more defined features, including:
- rounded broad shoulders and pecks
- broader back
- curved legs

A Tease is a great preset for an average body size.
The creator refers to this as a “chubby” preset–though, I can’t say I really agree (though they do have some that DO count).
This one features an overall average size. There is a bit of a bigger stomach area but everything else is pretty evenly spaced.
Pair it with some stellar facial hair for a truly custom experience.
12. Olympia Body Preset by Golyhawhaw
The Olympia Body Preset is a great pick if you’re looking for something that’s on the more athletic side of things. Not to mention, it’s done by one of my favorite male cc creators.
It adds shape and adjustment to the leg muscles, gives your sims larger shoulders, arms, back, traps, legs and calves, and more defined glutes. If you’re trying to recreate Henry Cavill, this is the download you need.
13. I Like Boys Preset Pack by hi-land
The I Like Boys Preset Pack is full of skinny boys (the creator’s words, not mine!). It features five male presets that work for all ages from teen to elder.
Overall, these presets are great for a little variation on the tummy area, thighs and other problem areas (when it comes to sims creation). If you want a little variation but not too much, this is the pack for you.
14. Daddy Preset Pack by hi-land
If you love hi-land’s previous work but want more body diversity, the Daddy Preset Pack is for you.
It features five presets with a focus on bigger boys, specifically in the stomach and thigh area.
They’re enabled for teens to elders, so you can have a variation in all ages! There are definitely a few clothing packs that would look good on this preset.
15. Bodybuild Preset by Redhead Sims CC
For those that are looking to create beefier sims, the Bodybuilder Preset is for you.
This gives your male sims more variation and tone in all the important bodybuilding areas–think glutes, arms, pecks and other muscular zones.
It’s not going to be the right pack for everyone but it’s a GREAT addition to your mods folder.
16. Thin Male Body Preset by Revolution Sim
If you’re looking for a male body preset that’s on the slimmer side, the Thin Male Body Preset download is for you.
It’s a base game compatible preset that’s perfect for adding a unique bodyshape to your gameplay.
17. Summer Body Presets by Sunflower Petals
If you’re dreaming of fun in the sun, the Summer Body Presets are for you.
Again, these focus more on thinner male sims but it does give a bit of a range. These presets change the legs, butt, belly, chest, and arms.
You get four presets in this pack. They’re not too extreme and easy to work with.
18. Athletic Male Body Preset by Lutessasims
The Athletic Male Body gives you a natural athletic V-shape preset for males.
You get one single preset in this pack, and it works for teens to elders.
19. American Boy Body Preset by hi-land
The American Boy Body Preset features a single preset that leans towards a more average but athletic body style.
Overall, it’s a pretty basic male preset. It enhanced everything except arms. You get a little more definition where it counts.
How do you change body presets in Sims 4?
In The Sims 4, you can change your Sim’s body preset in Create-a-Sim (CAS). Assuming you want to edit an existing sim, here’s how to do it:
- Activate Sims 4 CAS Full Edit Mode cheat
- Shift+click on your sim, select “Modify in CAS”
- Once you’re in CAS, click on your sim’s body to reveal the options on the right side
- Click on the “Body” category.
- Pick a body preset from the list.
- Save your Sim when you’re done.
If you want to edit the body of a new sim, it’s so much easier because you only need to go straight to CAS, click on your sim’s body, and pick the body preset under the “body category.”
