This Swedish-built company has some of the most popular (and affordable) furniture in the world. And while some people roll their eyes at it, many of us truly love it.

1. Ikea Home Stuff by simsi45

If you were a Sims 2 fan, you’ll remember that IKEA did a Home Stuff Pack — well this set is a redo of that to Mach Sims 4. Simsi45 created a stellar 68 piece set that includes everything from sofas and beds to lights and decor.

You can truly create an awesome house with this. There are a ton of custom recolors included so you can mix and match for the right look. This set is great because it continues to be updated (it was most recently updated to work with the High School Year’s expansion pack), and everything has been play tested within the game, so you know it works.

I love the coziness of everything that’s built into the game, you can make a truly awesome house with all this great furniture.

The biggest set on this list is the Baysic Collection. It features a whopping 91 items, including stuff from EVERY room out there.

There are two different kitchen designs along with a dining set that features matching dining tables in three different sizes. There’s a living room set where you’ll find a matching sofa, love seat and armchair, then there’s the bedroom set that lets you create a custom built wardrobe.

The best part about this set is that it’s base game compatible. However, the oven that’s included requires Dream House Designer to be fully functional. Honestly, one of my favorite parts is that the fact that their marketing matches IKEAs.

I think this super cute, simplistic design really elevates every space. I really LOVE the clean look that comes with this furniture pack, and everything can really go together… you could really outfit your whole house with this and match it with some great clutter.

The IKEA FJÄLLBO collection combines metal and wood into a few modern looking pieces that are beautifully designed. They’ll help you create the perfect home office or TV room space, and it includes:

  • TV stand

I think these pieces have an all around super cute good look and feel. It’s a small set but it still counts — and it’s super cute.

I’m calling this a pack because it includes a collection of IKEA desks, though it’s not exactly the same as the other “sets” included on this list. But it’s my list — so I figured I can do whatever I want.

This desk set features IKEA inspired designs, including:

  • MICKE
  • LISABO
  • ARKEKSTORP
  • ALEX (two versions: glass and wood)
  • ALVE

I’ve owned one or two of these desks before, and I whole heartedly believe that they’ll fit into any office, bedroom or living room. Don’t forget to add a cute plant in your office!

7. IKEA Nordli Dresser by Heurrs

Heurrs did a fantastic job designing this gorgeous IKEA NORDLI dresser.

While it’s only a single piece, it’s the spitting image of the real life version.

It will fit perfectly into any bedroom, and has an overall super cute design. Seriously, I really like this bedroom piece.

8. IKEA Nordi Inspired by pqSim4

I realize this is the second NORDI inspired piece on this list, but this is a whole set of dressers in case you need more than just one.

You probably don’t need to download both of these, but this set has a bunch of really cute swatches.

My particular favorite is the mint-looking one, but I’m also a fan of the sweet peachy pink — perfect for any little girl’s room.

9. IKEA Sundvik Toddler Bed & Closet

The IKEA SUNDVIK toddler bed and closet is a perfectly simple design that has an overall plain, clean and defined look.

I love how it truly mirrors IKEA products. And despite the fact that they’re made for a toddler’s room, you can use the closet anywhere.

10. “IKEA Inspired” kitchen appliances (functional)

For functional kitchen appliances, try these ones that are IKEA inspired.

These are probably best matched with a Tiny Living space or college bedroom, as the portable induction hob TILLREDA can be placed anywhere that’s not the floor.

Though, word of warning, while it’s a functional kitchen piece the cooking animations can look strange sometimes. There’s a single swatch and no oven slot – simply just the stovetop.

This essential hot plate pairs well with the Chillbox 2100 Mini refrigerator that’s perfect for tiny spaces. It’s the dream college kids set.

Looking to up your house bar game? This IKEA bar set is a ton of fun, and the perfect dining room addition.

The set features IKEA Bossee Bar Stool, which can also function as an end table with five slots. You can pair that stool with the IKEA BJORKUDDEN Bar Table, though you’ll need the Dine Out Pack for that. Finally, there are three IKEA RANARP pendant lamps that will blend seamlessly into ANY room.

This set is super cute, well-designed, and integrates into any modern home. It’s a Maxis Match set that will truly blend right in.

12. IKEA inspired Expedit/Kallax’s Furniture

I’ve owned one (or six) KALLAX bookshelves, which is why I’m such a fan of this IKEA inspired EXPEDIT/KALLAX furniture.

What I like most about this IKEA furniture is that it can truly fit into any room — from a kids bedroom to the living room.

This set features:

  • TV storage
  • Book case (4 designs)

Ultimately this furniture set is great if you’re looking to up your storage game in your Sims house.

If you want to liven up your kitchen and have a toddler in the home, the Cutie High Chair is for you.

It’s the perfect toddler seat for the modern kitchen.

I love the quaint design details, and am particularly fond of the lime green one.

I think it would pair really nice with a modern kitchen that has a few retro accents (I’m lookin’ at you SMEG-inspired kitchen appliances).

If you’re looking for more toddler and infant items, check out these cute nursery picks!

14. Ikea Butterfly Bed

This IKEA Butterfly Bed is based on a bedding item in the store — in particular the duvet set.

It’s a cute custom content blue bedding set that features white butterflies printed on it.

This basic item would probably be best suited for a younger sim’s room, but honestly you could put it anywhere.

15. Kallax Bedside Unit

I’ve had a whole sack of Kallax items in my room, and this simple Kallax bedside table is perfect for the minimalistic sim.

It’s another classy, box-like IKEA style item. While it might not look for much, it’s a great unassuming item that will blend into any background.

There are four basic colors to choose from — white, black, brown and natural wood.

Though it doesn’t have the fun colors I love, it does mean you can choose a fun accent piece and this table will blend right in.

16. Ikea Rugs

Speaking of a brightly colored accent piece to pull the room together, what about one of these IKEA rugs?

It features four IKEA inspired rugs that include fun colors and palettes that will really bring everything together.

My favorite pick is the black and white one, but any could be the perfect match for your living room or bedroom.

17. Ikea Ypperlig by MXIMS

I’m a big fan of mismatched items, and the Ypperlig set by MXIMS fits that motif perfectly.

Chances are you’ve actually seen this set if you’ve been inside an IKEA store (I know I have) but it’s a great kitchen table set and chairs.

The mismatched chairs feature a bench-style couch for the back of the table, along with two chairs (one a super cute green color) and a basic stool.

If you’re looking to build a classic piece of Ikea furniture, this is the set for you.

Final thoughts: Sims 4 IKEA CC

IKEA is one of the hallmarks of a new home (in my mind). The furniture is affordable and modern-looking, and my entire first (and second) apartment was full of it.

It will always hold a special place in my heart, and I love making sim houses with it.

Of course, I don’t use IKEA in all of my houses, but certain ones just really need it. From a MALM desk to the KALLAX shelves, there are a lot of things you can do with a few great pieces.

What will you design next?
