I LOVE this Retro Appliances cc pack, the colors just get me!

In total, you get 10 usable (functional items) along with 4 pieces of decor – both types of items come in 9 BOLD color swatches (including both a mint green and a purple style).

It’s the perfect kitchen set for anyone who’s moving into an old home, trying to do a fancy modern retro-style kitchen or playing a period storyline. It’s such a fun, unique pack that I abolustely love using in my builds.

If you’re looking for used versions, you can find them in part 2 of this cc pack.

2. Retro Korea Kitchen by KKB

The Retro Korea Kitchen is part 1 of a 2-part set that’s a great throwback to home style in Korea.

I really love this set, it features 14 different items that are both unique and amazingly designed, including vintage counters and a funky fridge! I think this set is the PERFECT match for a “needs work” style apartment in San Myshuno.

All of these items are a very cute fixer-upper style with some rough-around-the-edges style swatches. I particularly like the display storage cupboard, but everything from the kimchi container to the mini boiler adds some very fun accents.

This is a full Maxis Match set that’s GREAT to build with.

3. Classic Kitchen by Max 20

Max 20’s Classic Kitchen Set could easily fit into a vintage OR modern house, depending on what you’re going for. You pair this set with the right appliances, namely the Smeglish set, and you’ve got a seriously cool vintage style room goin’ on.

The only items in this set that don’t scream recent vintage to me are the appliances themselves. For a true retro build, I’d switch them out with something mor fitting and dated – you could even pair them with the Country Kitchen kit if you’re hanging out in the countryside.

4. Merit Kitchen by Sim_Man123

The Merit Kitchen has some serious retro shabby chic vibes to it.

This cc set has 11 meshes that really add some gorgeous designs to your 1950s style home. I love that you get counter trim on some of the swatches, it gives it a real ’50s diner vibe that’s perfect for a restaurant or your family home.

Note that you’ll need Snowy Escape for some of the pieces (like the counter trim) to work properly.

5. Laundry Day Kitchen by Simsza

The Laundry Day Kitchen Add-on isn’t necessarily meant to be retro, but it has a VERY dated feel to me that I love.

This custom kitchen was designed to match with the Laundry Day Stuff Pack (which you NEED for it to work). You get 6 brand new objects, including some gorgeous cabinet and counter pieces.

I really like this, especially if you’re making a cute cottage or something woodsy.

6. Bright Kitchen by Leaf-Motif

The Bright Kitchen is super cute and has both modern and vintage vibes to it.

This could be a modern kitchen in a contemporary apartment, but it could also EASILY be a retro mid-century throwback to something designed in the 1950s. What I love the most is the wild variety of colors and the flamingo-swatch chair (seriously ADORABLE!).

If you want simple, cute and colorful, this is the set for you.

I really love the Calico Counters and Cabinets.

I particularly like the floral designs that are added to the Parenthood cabinets (which you NEED for these to work, FYI). You also get a cute stove recolor that goes swimmingly with the new cabinet and counter swatches.

They give me a real grandma’s house vibe that I love.

8. Retro Vintage Vibe by KKB

For anyone looking for a more colorful vibe but still has some heavy cottage vibes, the Retro Vintage Vibe pack is for you.

You get 13 fun items, including:

  • A fun dated stove with some spice shelving
  • A display cupboard that has room for a toaster oven
  • Two fun chair styles
  • Bunch of cute decor items like a utensils holder

In total you get 20 color swatches, half of which carry cute pastel colors that are great for a softer look and feel.

9. SMEGlish Retro Kitchen Appliances by Ravasheen

I can’t afford SMEG in real life, but Ravasheen allows me to add them to my Sims’ home, which is practically the same thing. These SMEGlish Retro Appliances are TOP NOTCH, seriously, you don’t get cuter than that.

You can download small appliances (this set) or large (your stove, fridge, etc.) so you can mix-and-match ALL your kitchen appliances. They come in fun, funky colors – though not quite as much variety as you get with the real life items.

Everything in this set is base game compatible except the SMEGlish Mini Fridge which requires the Discover University EP for it to appear in your game.

10. Heirloom Kitchen by Leaf-Motif

The Heirloom Kitchen clutter set features everything your grandma left you in her will. Seriously, if I could get a few of these things for my IRL kitchen, I would LOVE that.

From funky storage tins to stacks of vintage cookware, this is the perfect clutter set to really decorate up your sim’s kitchen space. SO CUTE!

If you just want a hint of histroy in your game, the Retro Refrigerator is for you.

While it’s not as cute as the Smeglish set, it’s the perfect second-hand fridge for your first apartment. It comes in 12 different swatches – some that are clean, others are dirty, and you get an array of colors from wild (like a cute salmon pink) to more realistic white and silver.

My favorite part about this set is the cute picture clutter that comes on the fridge to give it a real lived-in vibe.

If you want a TRULY retro choice, the Kitchen of Tomorrow is for you. This pre-atomic style kitchen is inspired by Fallout 4, and fits perfectly into your Sims 4 gameplay.

This set comes with practical items like a funky fridge and ’50s diner style counters and cabinets, along with some amazing decor that’s just must-have clutter.

There is SO MUCH I love about this set, if you want something that’s retro it’s absolutely must-download. You even get a fun orange slice wall clock – how cute is that?!

13. March Deco Content by LeoSims

I don’t include a lot of LeoSims’ stuff on my site because much of it is locked behind a paywall… but this kitchen deco set is totally free for you to download.

This is a deco-only set but it has some cute items in it, including:

  • Hanging Apron
  • Chef’s Hat
  • Cookbook Stand
  • Homemade Tomato Soup
  • Chocolate Pudding Truffles
  • Egg Cups

It’s not necessarily meant to be retro, but all of these items would look killer in a cute retro-style kitchen.

You get 12 new items with this Retro Reboot Kitchen pack.

It’s a well-designed mid-century modern vibe with some very ’50s feeling counters and cabinets, and some bold colors.

From a funky toaster to a high island-table extension, theres PLENTY of awesome items here if you’re building your grandma’s dream kitchen (from when she was a tween!).

15. Retro Remix by Leaf Motif

For those that want a little more dated kitchen clutter, the Retro Remix pack is for you.

Not quite as on-point as the Heirloom set featured above, this set still could be hand-me-downs from grandma or even secondhand store finds for gameplay purposes. With it you get a ton of cute but nondescript retro-style decor items.

If you want to messy up your kitchen, this is a set I’d highly recommend adding to your mods folder ASAP.

The Retro Diner Sign Set is included as a bonus item for anyone that wants to build a true retro style diner in their game.

You get 10 different English neon sign choices all perfect for your next restaurant build. From one that boasts a 24-hour open to another that’s burger-specific, these are a GREAT addition to your restaurant cc collection.
