1. Shorter University Degrees by The Peridot Project

Tired of credits being so high that going to classes is a bore? Then you NEED this Shorter University Mod!

This mod makes university degrees require less credits. Made for people who play shorter lifespans or just can’t be arsed to play through 4+ Sim weeks of uni. 

It also provides you with a ton of objects 10 files below, that covers any amount of credits between 2 and 11 credits. Compared to the default in-game requirement of 12 credits, your sim will be breezing through their classes in no time!

Depending on which shorter version of flavor you use, you can easily cut your degree by half or more! This mod is great for degree speedrunners or if you just wanna get that degree immediately (no shame, most of us do).

2. University Costs More by Zero’s Sims 4 Mods

If you like your sim to go through the real university experience, then this University Costs More Mod is right up your alley! 

This mod makes university costs much more. Providing you with a tiered cost of classes which makes it a bit more realistic… and a MUCH BIGGER dent on your sim’s pockets. 

So, if you’d like to spend those simoleons to get that realism gameplay going. You SHOULD get this mod!

3. Quickly Check Uni Performance by Arckange

If you need to check how your sim is performing, then you absolutely need this Quickly Check Uni Performance Mod!

With a simple script, it allows you to check how the sims in your active household are performing in each of their university courses. No need to wait for that report card! 

You just have to type a really simple script that comes with it.

4. Longer University Degrees by The Peridot Project

Now if you want the thrill of having an extended time at the university (which is very strange!), this Longer University Degrees Mod fits you perfectly! 

Originally included in the shorter university mod, it is now available separately so you can adjust your sims degrees longer however you please.

If you find your sims doing their homework ANYWHERE else other than a desk very annoying, this Homework at Desk Mod will definitely give you the satisfaction of watching your sim do their homework right where they should be!

Requirements for this mod? Only the base game! No need to worry about downloading or having any other feature.

With this mod, your sims can study absentia on weekends! The study time can be shifted from 8-00 in the morning to 18-30 on the weekends.

Talk about reality, this Rejection Letter from University Mod provides a rejection letter from uni! Of course, this is still by chance.

This is pretty similar with certificates and degrees as qualifications.

Ever wanted to stop getting those weird roommates automatically and get the roommates you want? Say, your sim’s best friends for example. 

This Choose Your Roommate Mod makes it so that you can choose your sims roommates! You simply have to enroll your roommates into uni, move their household into your lot, go back into your played Household, and choose your roommates!

The game will in fact separate your roommates to a Homeless household, and you cannot use this mod if you have several households to play in uni and switch between them.

26. Graduation Party Event by KiaraSims4Mods

Graduation can be really anti-climactic in the Discover University EP. Where’s the celebration? The congratulations? This Graduation Party Event Modanswers all those questions and can be used to fill the gap of your sim’s “what next?” after-graduation loneliness.

The main goal of this event is to hug family members and friends. After the event, you will be rewarded with a photo titled “Memories of Graduation” AND 2500 Simoleons! Now that is rewarding. 

Final Thoughts: Sims 4 University Mods

These are just the tip of the iceberg of TONS of mods for the Discover University Expansion Pack. All it boils down to is how you like to do your gameplay.

Personally, I think most of these mods fix what was missing in the expansion pack. 

I happen to love the school newspaper mod as it reminds me of my time back in uni. But I also like being able to choose my roommates and speeding up term paper writing and the presentation!
