You’re not alone – I LOVE a good outdoor space in my sims game and I pretty much always try to give them stylish pools. So, unsurprisingly, I’ve downloaded my fair share of pool-related content.
If you’re ready to make your next in-game pool party a hoppin’ event with some crazy, unique pieces, then these are the cc items you need to download.

I love the classic beachy style you get with this, like the white-and-teal striped pattern and the gorgeous sun umbrellas.
2. Hot Girl Summer Float by Faded Springs
The Hot Girl Summer Float is the perfect dreamy accessory to add to your pool.
While you need the Island Living EP for this to work, you get 24 patterns and 6 fun colors with this piece, which makes it PERFECT for livening up your pool space.
This is a functional item, you’ll find it in outdoor activities.
3. Heart Shaped Kiddie Pool by Sims41ife
If you want a Barbie-esque kiddie pool, then this heart shaped one is for you.
The best part is it works for both adults and kids – though you’ll need to click in the upper right corner to not get any awkward clipping for non-kid sims.
4. Cruel Summer by Joyce is Fox
This cute Cruel Summer set is perfect for those who want to bring a little bit of the cottage outdoors and poolside. It’s a small, set that features 4 cute items, including:
- Willow lounge chair (4 swatches)
- Floating recliner (8 swatches)
- Woven chair (3 swatches)
- Hanging picture (8 swatches)
It’s perfectly adorable and girly, and I happen to LOVE the daisy floral pattern.
5. Summer Party Mini Set by LittleDica
The Summer Party Mini Set features 7 items that are perfect for your sim’s next neighborhood BBQ. It combines a few classic items (think a retro grill) with some more fun, new items – like a pergola with decor slots on the fence posts.
What I like the most is that the pergola is usable WITHOUT using the bb.moveobjects cheat – which is awesome. If you’re trying to put together the PERFECT summer backyard, this set is a must-have.
6. Dreamy Outdoor by Sixam
The flamingo float is EXACTLY what I want in my IRL pool (seriously, I’m surprised I don’t already have it), and that makes the Dreamy Outdoor kit PERFECT for your sim’s pool space.
As implied by the title, the objects in this set are meant to help you make your dream patio area. It comes with almost everything you need to make a gorgeous outdoor space, including a:
- Classic coal grill
- Flamingo float
- Hanging swing
- French doors
- Chairs
- Chaise lounge
… and that’s only the tip of the iceberg. In total, there are 36 new meshes. Most of the items are base game compatible, though you do need Island Living for the floats to be functional.
7. Rope Lounge Outdoor Set by Tuds
The Rope Lounge Outdoor Set is gorgeous, and perfect for the pool or beachside.
If you want a natural-looking backyard set, this is the one for you. The items in it are sleek, unique and have a very gorgeous sustainable look and feel to them. For those that like adding custom content that the game completely lacks, this is a unique set.
There are 12 items in this set, all of which are base game compatible. The swatches all have natural, earthy tones that will blend in well with a modern luxury home. You get everything you need from sleek lounge chairs to a luxury-looking shader.
8. Mahé Lounge Set by Madlen
The Mahé Lounge Set is a small set that adds some sleek accents to your backyard area. With 4 items, you can decorate a classy backyard. With this fan-made download you get:
- Lounge chair
- Accent table
- Sunbath and towel set (decor item)
- Ottoman
Throw them poolside, or drop them on your sim’s beachfront property. I particularly like the wood lounger with the accent wheels – it’s very modern and fun (though the wheels aren’t functional).
9. Pool Jumping Ladder by Jools
The Pool Jumping Ladder steps up the in-game diving board a bit with something that actually looks good.
You’ll need the Get Together EP to make this work, but it’s stylish and comes in 8 colors that are great to add to your sim’s backyard pool space. It’s a functional item that essentially replaces the diving board but looks a little more dressed up.
10. Juno Patio Umbrella by ArtVitalex
For a classic poolside umbrella, you need the June Patio Umbrella.
This belongs to a set by ArtVitalex that’s built to dress up your patio – but I decided to highlight the umbrella specifically because I felt like it was missing from our list.
It comes in 3 different neutral swatches, which sounds boring but the bold patterns help curb that.
11. Lounge Chair Recolor by Simsulani
The Lounge Chair is a recolored version of the Island Living one (so you need that pack for it to work). I’ll admit that the ones that come with the original chair are a little lackluster, but these ones are SO CUTE.
With this download you get 10 new recolors to really spruce up your beachy home look. If you want more colors, this is the download you need.
12. Pool Day Collection by Mel Bennett
For those who like content that has a more alpha look and feel, the Pool Day Collection is for you.
Most of the items in this set are decor, including a fun beer pong float, pool noodles, a 6-pack of beer, folded towel and a floating drink. However, the retro-style radio that you get is functional.
Have some fun with it, and throw a pool party!

For me, sometimes the best cc adds to my gameplay are simply recolors.
Maybe I’m on my own with this, but we have some cute things in-game, I just don’t like the swatches – and this Floral Float Lounger is one of my top picks.
I love a good floral swatch, and this download has 15 ultra cute colors – from a deep green to a funky orange.

Masculine sims always get jipped clothing wise, and toddlers don’t have much to start – with that in mind, the Luca outfit by LittleTodds is the perfect pool-focused set for your little sim boys.
This mini set features swim shorts, a hat and floaties – all with two swatches. Unfortunately this set is NOT base game compatible, you’ll need both the Toddler Stuff Pack and Island Living EP to make it work.
